Angmering Walks has been created as a free resource to help local people explore the beautiful scenery that surrounds the village.

The site aims to combine inspiration with practical advice, and all the walks recommended have been completed by the mother and son behind the project, Bev and Will Jones, who both live in the village.

Although this resource is primarily aimed at Angmering residents, anyone from the wider Worthing area can make use of it.

Bev has spent much of her life in Angmering and was a teacher at St Margaret’s Primary School before retiring in 2010. Her sense of adventure has taken her to places all over the world, from the Australian Outback to the jungles of South America, but she loves nothing more than to explore the local area, soaking up the fantastic scenery that surrounds the village in all directions.

Will is a writer, editor and digital content specialist, working mainly in the travel industry. He grew up in Angmering and moved to London in his 20s, but recently returned to the village along with his wife and two cats, and is enjoying rediscovering the area. Like his mum he’s travelled widely, but firmly believes nowhere in the world can top the Sussex countryside on a sunny day!
